The technical details are not the only determinant factor of a product like this.
Gate comes with a program installed (firmware) which allows it to run locally, even in the absence of communication with a PC (in which is present the access control software).
Gate is a complete terminal where you can set all communication parameters, types of connected readers, control gates, hours and working time profile of users and alarms for transmission to the Host (PC).
This program is constantly being enhanced and improved, and can also be updated on already installed terminals without physically intervention because it can be operated from the PC to which it is connected (firmware update).
